Chapter 11 Chapter 11 : Don't Come Any Closer! (Part 1)
Xu Yecheng sighed helplessly. Water streamed over his pair of delicate, fair hands as he glanced once again at his reflection in the mirror.
Seriously…
He looked just like a soft, cute girl.
It felt incredibly strange—not seeing himself in the mirror at all.
Strands of hair fell carelessly over his shoulders. He reached up to tuck the hair away from his face. His eyes were as clear and bright as the sky after rain, and beneath his porcelain skin, a faint flush gave him a healthy glow.
His cherry-red lips looked plump and tempting—almost translucent like candy.
His eyebrows were slender and pale, his eyes soft at the outer corners, but the tiny mole near his eye added a playful, mischievous charm to his otherwise gentle appearance.
“What an adorable face…”
Xu Yecheng pursed his lips, and the girl in the mirror mimicked the motion perfectly.
Since even his body had transformed along with his face, it was clear this thing’s effect was seriously insane.
Which meant… this “thing” had suddenly become super useful!
With this kind of looks, he could cosplay anything and instantly attract droves of otaku. Once his popularity took off, he could start taking ads. Making ten thousand a month? Totally doable!
A smug smile spread across Xu Yecheng’s face as he fantasized about his future life of ease and fame.
Then his eyes drifted back to the mirror—and he froze.
The face staring back was grinning in an utterly creepy, lecherous way.
“Wait… was my smile really that creepy just now?”
He felt speechless. How could he—of all people—make that kind of expression with such a stunningly beautiful face?
He quickly wiped the grin off and regained his composure.
“That was way too image-ruining…” he grumbled inwardly.
“How can I possibly mess up such a gorgeous face like this…”
He covered his face with his hands, took a deep breath, and tried again—gently curving his lips into a soft, natural smile.
“Holy crap… how can I be this cute?!”
The former Xu Yecheng, who’d always been horribly insecure about his looks, never imagined he’d stand in front of a mirror, shamelessly admiring himself for so long.
He pinched his own cheek, overwhelmed with emotion.
“Life is so much better when you’re pretty—even your reflection is a treat to look at. If I could wake up every morning to my own hotness, who’d even need coffee to beat morning grumpiness?”
He tightened the belt of his pajamas, accentuating the curves of his new body.
That slim waist, those wide hips, and those long, fair legs—his physique alone could easily rank among the top in his entire university.
As for his chest…
Xu Yecheng wasn’t a fan of those ridiculously huge proportions you saw in manga. He actually preferred his current form—modestly full, petite, yet undeniably charming.
The thought that inside this adorable girl was still his rough, manly self gave him a strong sense of cognitive dissonance.
He took another deep breath. His own voice—now sweet and melodic—echoed in his ears, and a brilliant idea struck him.
Hey… his voice was a girl’s voice now, right?
Admittedly, the idea made him feel a bit gross…
But hey, even guys needed a little ego boost sometimes.
Clearing his throat gently, he tried in a soft, feminine tone:
“Xu Yecheng, you’re so handsome…”
“Ughhh…!”
He gagged immediately.
“That was absolutely disgusting.”
Okay, maybe he shouldn’t get too fancy with this.
Sure, his voice *was* nice to listen to… but…
He sighed again, feeling oddly unsettled.
Complimenting himself just felt way too weird.
Maybe it was because no one had ever called him handsome before—so hearing it now, even from himself, felt deeply awkward.
He brushed his hair aside and muttered to himself, “I should really focus on how to change back first…”
He’d gotten so caught up in playing around that he’d completely forgotten the most important thing!
Maybe he should text Zheng Wenxuan and ask him to send a voice message.
It’d seem random, sure—but that guy probably wouldn’t overthink it. After all, who’d ever guess Xu Yecheng wanted his full name spoken out loud… for *this* reason?
He opened the bathroom door and grabbed his phone—
—just as a sound from outside caught his ear: the unmistakable jingle of keys sliding into a lock.
“What?! He’s back already? And he brought his key this time?!”
Panicked, Xu Yecheng glanced around wildly, then bolted back into the bathroom, phone in hand.
He Xiao Han pushed the dorm room door open just in time to catch a blurry figure darting into the bathroom.
For a split second before it vanished, He Xiao Han saw a few strands of hair.
*A girl?*
He frowned in confusion.
*Did I imagine that?*
This was a *boys’ dorm*, for heaven’s sake—how could there possibly be a girl here?
Inside the bathroom, Xu Yecheng nearly sighed in relief—
—but stopped himself just in time, remembering his voice had changed.
The lights in the dorm were still on. He Xiao Han scanned the room and spotted Xu Yecheng’s shoes under a chair.
*So… is that Yecheng in there?*
He walked over and knocked on the bathroom door.
The moment Xu Yecheng heard the knock, his whole body froze.
“Oh no—Wenxuan’s already back?!”
Frantically, he pulled out his phone and typed into Zheng Wenxuan’s chat:
**“Are you back?”**
**“Nah,”** came the instant reply.
“Who’s in there? Yecheng, is that you?” He Xiao Han called out, puzzled.
Xu Yecheng’s heart sank.
*Why does this guy have to come back right now?!*
And seriously—why couldn’t his name be just two characters?!
“Who is it?” He Xiao Han asked again.
*Why do you care so much who’s in the bathroom?* Xu Yecheng grumbled internally. *Is someone gonna blow it up or something?*
The situation was dire.
If He Xiao Han—an infamous flirt and womanizer—saw him like this, his virtue was as good as gone.
If he stayed silent, He Xiao Han would just unlock the door with his key.
And once that door opened, there’d be nowhere to run in this tiny space.
Plus, he was still in loose pajamas—anyone seeing him like this would lose their mind!
If that playboy He Xiao Han saw him in this state…
*NO WAY!*
Xu Yecheng typed furiously—but Zheng Wenxuan, that useless lump, suddenly went radio silent.
“Who’s in there?” He Xiao Han pressed, knocking again. “Hey, say something! If you don’t answer, I’m opening the door with my key!”
Xu Yecheng remained deathly silent inside.
Then came the unmistakable sound of a key turning in the lock…
He was truly, utterly screwed.
