Chapter 42 Chapter 42: The Cute Junior Gets Bullied

Jan 16, 2026 650 words

Ignoring whatever Lu Kaiwen might have thought, Su Yuan—still uneasy after being caught in the women’s restroom for the first time—returned to her seat.

Lan Qiuzhu was holding her water cup, smiling as she handed it back.

“Thank you.”

Su Yuan accepted politely, ready to leave.

But Lan Qiuzhu stood up and blocked her path.

“Hm?” Su Yuan felt strange, confused by the tall girl standing in front of her.

Lan Qiuzhu was about 1.7 meters, taller than Su Yuan by two or three centimeters. For Su Yuan, this was a small sorrow. As a girl it was fine, but had she still been a boy, such height difference would have been frustrating.

Her sudden blocking gesture seemed domineering, like a campus queen bullying a weaker student.

Su Yuan’s mind raced. The earlier smile and polite gesture now looked more like the act of a female boss.

She kept her face calm, but inside she marveled. So Binhe Polytechnic has a female overlord. And I, Su Yuan, am lucky enough to be bullied by her.

As a former boy, Su Yuan could not accept this.

She set her cup and book down, breathing steadily, and decided to fight back.

Lan Qiuzhu noticed the change in her aura. The soft junior now radiated a sharp energy.

She thought, Good.

Before she could react, Su Yuan’s hand shot forward, seizing her elbow, twisting her wrist outward, then releasing to throw a punch toward her temple.

The move was swift and clean.

Su Yuan’s cold face flickered with pride. Though her strength had lessened since becoming female, her speed had increased.

Lan Qiuzhu broke into a sweat, retreating quickly. This junior is ruthless.

But instead of fear, her eyes gleamed with excitement. Su Yuan could not know that Lan Qiuzhu was far more skilled in fighting than she was.

She shifted her body with the twist, causing Su Yuan to stumble forward. Seizing the chance, Lan Qiuzhu stepped in, hooked Su Yuan’s heel, and swept her leg. Su Yuan lost balance and fell hard.

Smack. She landed on the marble floor, her backside aching.

“How could this happen.” Su Yuan sat stunned. Her reliable fighting skills had failed against this big‑chested senior.

Few knew her past. Behind her gentle exterior, she had once been a schoolyard tyrant, feared from primary to high school. She had beaten many bullies, always protected by her innocent appearance. By senior year she had sworn off fighting.

She had avoided trouble with Lin Jun. But now, against Lan Qiuzhu, she had been defeated.

The pain was sharp, like bones breaking. Tears welled up. She could not stand.

The commotion drew attention. Students whispered at the sight of one girl knocking another down.

Such scenes were rare in university. Adults were expected to behave.

Lan Qiuzhu, seeing the stares, panicked. She had not meant for Su Yuan to fall so hard. Seeing her eyes red with pain, she rushed to help.

Su Yuan wanted to slap her hand away, but realized too many eyes were watching. If recognized, it would be disastrous. And rejecting help seemed too girlish. So she accepted.

“Let’s leave here first.” Lan Qiuzhu whispered apologetically.

Su Yuan nodded, picked up her cup and book, and let herself be supported.

But she regretted it immediately.

Lan Qiuzhu was leading her toward the women’s restroom.

The last place she wanted to go.

Sighs filled the library. Students could hardly believe such a scene at Binhe Polytechnic. A female bully dragging a junior into the restroom.

Some boys wanted to intervene, but froze when they saw the destination.

The women’s restroom. They could not enter.

They watched helplessly, guilt gnawing at them, as the cute junior was taken away.

They had seen her resistance, her longing glance back, and felt their own weakness deepen.
