Chapter 50 Chapter 50: Buying Women’s Clothing
]They arrived at a shop specializing in women’s lingerie. Su Yuan froze at the entrance, reluctant to enter. “Hongye, do we really have to go in?”
“What do you mean really? Come on!” Hongye pulled her inside.
At the threshold, Su Yuan felt the difference immediately. Her face flushed. This was her first time stepping into such a colorful world. In the past, even passing by from outside, she had thought this territory utterly foreign, never imagining she would one day walk in openly.
Rows of lingerie in endless styles, skimpy panties designed to save fabric, bras of every color and size—the sight made her heart pound. Her eyes darted nervously, as if she were a thief.
Hongye smiled, explaining, “Girls must choose the right lingerie. It’s not only comfortable, but helps maintain and shape the figure. Judging by your look, this must be your first time buying.”
Su Yuan swallowed. “Yes.”
“No wonder. Do you realize without a bra you’re exposed?” Her gaze dropped to Su Yuan’s chest. The faint swell was visible, with two small points showing through. Luckily her size wasn’t large, or the protrusion would have been even more obvious.
“…”
Su Yuan lowered her head, realizing why that taxi driver had ogled her earlier. She didn’t look like a proper girl.
“Don’t worry. Consider it accidental charity for those who got an eyeful. At least you’ve realized now.”
Hongye laughed. Su Yuan seemed like one of those girls who couldn’t take care of themselves once away from home. Hongye felt a sense of destiny—she must help this girl correct her habits.
The shop was overwhelming. Su Yuan had no idea where to start. Hongye took charge, quickly selecting several sets of lingerie.
In the fitting room, Su Yuan frowned at the lace panties and matching bras. At least they weren’t the scandalously skimpy kind. She changed, finding the fit soft and comfortable. Hongye’s eye for size impressed her.
For bras, Hongye had asked her cup size. Su Yuan had no idea. Hongye sighed, fetched a tape measure, and measured her herself: underbust 74 cm, bust 84 cm—between 34A and 34B. She chose several in both sizes for Su Yuan to try.
“Done yet? Want me to help?” Hongye called from outside.
Su Yuan shivered, recalling Hongye’s hands during the measuring. She quickly put on a matching bra, unwilling to let her in.
In Su Yuan’s mind, Hongye had already earned the nickname “female wolf.” Measuring had felt far too intimate.
A minute later, Su Yuan emerged. Hongye’s eyes lit up at her figure, then frowned at the open view from the shop to the street. She quickly pushed Su Yuan back inside, pulling the curtain, and admired her closely.
In the cramped space, their breaths mingled.
“Excellent! Your figure is enviable. Though your chest isn’t large and your hips not very full, your waist, skin, and overall softness are wonderful.”
“Really?” Su Yuan blushed.
Hongye nodded. “You’re an eight out of ten naturally, but poor styling drags you to seven. With proper dressing, you could be a nine—stunning beauty.”
“Nine?”
“Yes. Six is average, seven is pretty, eight is campus‑queen level, nine is breathtaking.”
Su Yuan was surprised. At least I didn’t transform into an ugly girl.
“Beauty isn’t just for men to admire,” Hongye said.
“You’re right.” Su Yuan smiled. “Now go out, I need to change.” She pushed her out.
At the counter, Su Yuan completed her first lingerie purchase.
Next, they went to a large women’s clothing market. Hongye had free rein, dressing Su Yuan in several outfits.
One look: white T‑shirt, watermelon‑red knit vest, light blue denim shorts. Youthful and bright. Hongye was thrilled, snapping photos.
Clothes make the person. In women’s fashion, Su Yuan looked like a budding model.
They tried more: lace dresses, ruffled blouses, gray cardigans with jeans. Each time Hongye praised and photographed her.
“Enough, Hongye,” Su Yuan grumbled. “Shopping is exhausting.”
“Alright, alright.” Hongye finally put her phone away.
The shop assistant smiled. “She looks great in those outfits. You must be her sister.”
“Yes, I’m her sister,” Hongye replied proudly. “Wrap them all up.”
Su Yuan protested. “So many? Expensive!”
“No, we must buy them. If you’re worried, I’ll pay.”
“Fine, I’ll buy them.” Su Yuan insisted on paying herself.
Four complete outfits—enough to rotate and wear.
