Chapter 2: I Love You, I Love You, I Love You, I Love You

The low, hoarse tremor, like a bolt from the blue, left the cherished heroine stunned on the bed.

It took her a long time to come back to her senses.

The Obsessive Loli Plan!

This was Chi Xiaocheng's plan to break free.

The male leads already detested the original owner, and now, with this kidnapping incident, they would surely hate her to madness. As things stood, the only way to save her own life was for the heroine to stop them.

Change her ways?

Su Tao's character was that of a soft, gentle, and idealized woman; she had many internal struggles and was easily swayed. The male leads were generally assertive, which often left her disoriented and unstable. Only by leaving a sufficiently deep impression on her, forcing her to care about and protect her, would there be a chance of survival!

As Chi Xiaocheng's thoughts surged, the system in her mind kept ringing with "ding-ding" sounds.

This was also one of the system's main functions: whenever important characters from the original novel, be they supporting roles or protagonists, experienced significant emotional fluctuations due to Chi Xiaocheng's actions, she would gain emotion points! Emotion points had many uses, including drawing prizes, purchasing items from the store, and checking the future plot developments of the novel. However, this novice gift package required 100 emotion points to unlock. Others received theirs for free, but this system demanded payment, a truly deceptive system for a little loli.

Only 13 emotion points, far from enough!

Seeing Su Tao's lack of reaction due to overwhelming shock, Chi Xiaocheng propped herself up with one hand on the edge of the bed, then agilely flipped herself onto it, now standing. Her attire today was simple: a white sailor uniform and a black short skirt. In this commanding, elevated position, Su Tao, who was fixed flat on her back, could clearly glimpse what lay beneath Chi Xiaocheng's skirt.

The cherished heroine slowly came back to her senses, but her eyes still held a look of bewildered panic. "Xiaocheng, I... I don't understand what you mean."

They had grown up together. Been best friends for over a decade. Su Tao had always considered Chi Xiaocheng her very best friend. Even though they'd had many conflicts in the past two years, Su Tao still believed that Chi Xiaocheng could be saved, and that with a little more effort to correct her thinking, they would surely return to their former relationship, becoming good friends once more. But now, it was as if she were a joyous boy dreaming of being an astronaut, suddenly slapped by his beaming grandmother.

Her former best friend, liked her?

Her mind was a mess; she had lost her bearings.

Chi Xiaocheng did not respond to the question. Instead, she saw Chi Xiaocheng bend down, her hands propped on the bed frame near Su Tao's armpits, then knelt on Su Tao's stomach. Chi Xiaocheng, who wasn't even 1.6 meters tall, was very light. Su Tao barely felt any weight. She only felt that the small bottom resting on her stomach was rather soft. In her vision, Chi Xiaocheng then leaned forward, her upper body almost touching Su Tao's before finally halting. Her tea-colored hair fell to one side of her face as Su Tao watched that small hand gently caress her cheek. Fingertips gently touched and pressed. Soon, Chi Xiaocheng revealed an expression of rapture. Half of it was an act, the other half was genuine pleasure at how comfortable that pretty face, full of collagen, felt to touch. She then brushed Su Tao's disheveled hair behind her ear, before gently pressing her palm against Su Tao's cheek, her thumb touching the corner of her mouth, stroking upwards along the somewhat dry, thin lips. Her thumb gradually stopped at the very center of Su Tao's pink lips.

Chi Xiaocheng's voice was very gentle. "Taotao, I like you, I like you very, very much. Ever since I was a child, when you protected me from bullies and led me by the hand from the dark corners into the sunshine, I fell hopelessly in love with you!" Chi Xiaocheng stared into Su Tao's helpless eyes. "I knew I had to be sensible to stay by your side, so I've always liked you secretly, thinking it didn't matter if you didn't like me back, as long as I could watch you from afar!"

"But then, but!" Chi Xiaocheng's tone suddenly grew heavy again. "You always told me that I was your most precious friend, your most important person, the one you liked most! Since you told me all that, why did you betray me!" Like a demon cursing from hell, Chi Xiaocheng's voice turned resentful. "Ye Liang, Si Chen, Dongfang Yang—you already had me, why did you still approach them!" The last sentence was practically a screamed roar.

Su Tao began to struggle violently, but her entire body was already restrained, and the words on the tip of her tongue grew increasingly anxious. "No, Xiaocheng, I just..." Before she could finish, Chi Xiaocheng suddenly pinched her cheek, cutting her off. Her voice then became morbidly gentle again. "No need to explain, Taotao. No matter what, I will always like you, and you can only be mine." Her gaze slowly descended, stopping at those thin, pink lips. Her thumb caressed them, gently rubbing. Su Tao seemed to guess what Chi Xiaocheng was about to do. Feeling the strange sensation of the fingertip on her lips, she frantically and anxiously said, "Xiaocheng, listen to me, this isn't right, this isn't right, this is my first..."

"Mmph—!"

The sound abruptly ceased.

Su Tao's eyes widened sharply. Her struggling body suddenly went still. Followed by even more violent struggles.

The emotion point notifications in her mind continued to ring out. Chi Xiaocheng knew this was happening because the rapid succession of information was overwhelming Su Tao's mind. But the novice gift package required 100 emotion points to purchase, and these were still not enough. Feeling the feeble struggles beneath her, Chi Xiaocheng sneered inwardly. She instantly parted their lips. Her pointed little fangs bit down hard, and a faint taste of blood instantly filled the air. That's how to leave a truly deep impression.

It was at that very moment that the wooden door to the basement was violently kicked open. "Miss Su Tao!" A man in a suit, panting heavily, leaned on the doorframe, his face filled with anxiety. The next second, he froze. What... what was going on?

He clearly remembered how, after his young master found Miss Su Tao's location, he had frantically ordered him to rush over, claiming that if he was a moment late, Miss Su Tao would be harmed. Now, however... it didn't seem she was in any danger? The suited bodyguard could never have imagined such an ambiguous scene unfolding in the basement. From his side angle, Su Tao was tied to the bed, while Chi Xiaocheng knelt on top of her, leaning in close, as if engaged in some sort of intimate and suggestive activity... The sight was too striking, almost embarrassing to witness.

He then snapped back to reality, pointing sternly at Chi Xiaocheng. "Release Miss Su Tao!"

That voice startled both Chi Xiaocheng and Su Tao simultaneously. With a single push, the bedframe let out a muffled creak, and her body lightly lifted. Chi Xiaocheng's face showed displeasure. She slowly turned her head, a few strands of hair falling over her eyes, her gaze sweeping diagonally towards the newcomer. Her dark eyes gleamed with an unusual light in the dimness. The small knife had, unnoticed, been clutched back in her hand. And then, she pressed it against Su Tao's neck. She gazed coldly at the suited bodyguard. "Get out, or I'll kill her!"
