"I'm not as pretty as you, and I've never really been interested in boys. I find them all so immature."
"Then girls?"
"Girls would have to be your cute type to catch my interest," Luo Ying replied, speechless, then waved a hand to steer the conversation back on track. "Alright, alright, stop beating around the bush. You want me to probe for information for you? That's really not right. You're my friend, and Su Tao is my friend too."
"As a friend, how could I betray her?"
Luo Ying's expression turned serious. "Being a snitch, that's not something I'd do."
"But, but..." Chi Xiaocheng was so anxious she looked like she might cry. "But I really don't know much about Tao Tao's social circle! I never really kept tabs on her before. Who knew she would actually doubt me!"
Seeing Chi Xiaocheng on the verge of tears, Luo Ying's heart softened considerably. "At most, I can help you ask about the situation. I won't do anything more than that. And, you two shouldn't doubt each other; that will only drive you further apart."

"Another act?"
"Exactly!" Luo Ying nodded, her voice becoming slightly enticing. "You pretend to go on a date or do something with Dongfang Yang, and then deliberately let Su Tao see it, or let photos leak out so she finds out. Watch her reaction, and you'll basically know if she still likes you."
"This..." Chi Xiaocheng's expression showed hesitation. "Wouldn't that be bad? What if the misunderstanding deepens even more?"
"Silly!" Luo Ying tapped Chi Xiaocheng's head. "If it deepens, doesn't that just prove it's not a misunderstanding? It would mean Su Tao really might not like you that much anymore!"
"Conversely, if Su Tao confirms it and then openly confronts you, or secretly seeks you out for a private talk, then wouldn't the misunderstanding be smoothly resolved?"
"Once your misunderstanding is resolved, your feelings will certainly deepen even further."
Although the method was ordinary, one had to admit that Luo Ying had a brain; the method she suggested, following the topic, was quite effective.
As long as this plan was executed, giving the two of them an opportunity for a private, detailed conversation to clear things up, the misunderstanding would definitely be resolved.
