Chapter 38 Su Tao: Is Little Cheng Really A Yandere?
Su Tao was a woman of strong action. Whenever an idea struck her, and there were no pressing matters to hinder her, she would immediately act upon it.
Just like now.
After settling Little Cheng, she immediately boarded a bus without delay.
Her destination was her old high school—or, more precisely, a house in a dingy alley near it.
That evening, Liu Guijia sat in her dilapidated little house, limping, typing something into her phone, her face exceptionally grim.
"Chi Xiaocheng, Su Tao... Sooner or later, I'll make you pay!"
She gnashed her teeth in resentment, then looked at the gloomy follower kneeling beside her.
She grabbed her follower's hair. "You wretched wench, why didn't you help me in there just now?"
The girl was forced to crane her neck, her face marred by scar after scar. She bit her lip, trembling too much to speak.
Seeing this, Liu Guijia slapped her in a fit of rage. "Worthless!"
"You're going to Qiu Li's later, right? Remember to tell that wretch to gather everyone. The day after tomorrow... no, tomorrow, I'm going to finish those two bitches off!"
She clenched her fist, her knuckles cracking loudly.
Under her command, there were over a dozen hoodlums alone. Add her two "sisters," and forty or fifty people would rush in. No matter how formidable Su Tao was by herself, could she possibly defeat so many?
Having taken a slap, the follower seemed accustomed to it, showing no anger. Instead, she said weakly, "We can't beat Su Tao."
"Boosting their morale while undermining our own?"
Liu Guijia's face twisted. She simply kicked her follower aside, stood up, and raged, "If it weren't for Chi Xiaocheng going crazy just now, scaring the wits out of me, I would've certainly had a showdown with her myself!"
Just then, hurried footsteps suddenly sounded outside the door.
A hoodlum girl in a torn leather jacket burst in. "N-not good, Big Sister Head, Su Tao's attacking!"
"What?!"
Liu Guijia shot up with a grunt, but twisted her leg and gasped in pain.
She quickly asked the young hoodlum, "How could Su Tao get here? We're at least an hour's drive from Jiuzhou University, aren't we?"
"I don't know, Sis!" the young hoodlum cried. "She... she seems to be here for revenge. We're all adults in college, what's she trying to prove?!"
Liu Guijia swallowed hard.
Revenge...
She was here to get revenge for Chi Xiaocheng!
Run?
This was her home, her base! If she ran now, what would her two other sisters think?
Liu Guijia took a deep breath, her eyes turning vicious. "Go gather all our sisters. Su Tao is alone; can she really beat over a dozen of us?"
"Today, I'm going to settle this with her!"
No sooner had she spoken than the door was gently pushed open, and a cool voice slowly drifted in. "Oh? Is that so?"
"Su Tao!"
The messenger hoodlum gasped in surprise. After eyeing her up and down and seeing she was completely unharmed, he shut his eyes and fainted.
Su Tao glanced at the hoodlum and said flatly, "Get out. I'm only here for Liu Guijia today."
The fainted hoodlum immediately snapped his eyes open, offered Su Tao an awkward smile, and scrambled out the door.
Only Liu Guijia and her follower remained in the room.
The latter shrank into a corner, her bangs covering her eyes, watching Su Tao with curiosity.
Liu Guijia, meanwhile, gritted her teeth and questioned Su Tao, "What do you mean by this?"
"What, you just hit Little Cheng, and now you're trying to play innocent?"
Su Tao's face was cold. Her purpose for being here was simple.
It was to get justice for Chi Xiaocheng. Or, to be more direct, to get revenge!
If not for today's incident, she wouldn't have even known that Chi Xiaocheng had been bullied by this wretch for three years.
"It seems you haven't learned your lesson from high school, have you?"
Liu Guijia gnashed her teeth, her voice full of resentment. "I just said, I didn't do anything to Chi Xiaocheng! At most, I punched her once. I didn't do anything else!"
She finished, then pointed to her bandaged leg. "Even this, Little Cheng poked me with something!"
Su Tao looked at her as if she were an idiot. "Do you think I'd believe that? I can tell from your injury that it was an accident when Little Cheng resisted. Do you take me for a fool?"
Liu Guijia's eyes widened.
In that situation, she was clearly the victim!
Liu Guijia understood then: Su Tao didn't care about the so-called truth at all. She was here for revenge.
Could she run?
There was no chance!
Liu Guijia took a deep breath, no longer afraid. She stood directly in front of Su Tao and said in a low voice, "Since that's how it is, then let's settle this with our fists. Don't think for a second that I'm truly afraid of you!"
With that, Liu Guijia suddenly lowered her stance.
"Don't think I'm still the clueless little hoodlum from high school! I've learned a few moves from my brother, who's in the underworld. Su Tao, just die!"
She immediately performed a set of military boxing moves on the spot.
It was truly powerful and imposing.
"Su Tao, die!"
She took a step forward!
"Bang—!"
And then she was knocked down by Su Tao's single punch.
Liu Guijia clutched her face and crouched on the ground, her head ringing.
"Is that all?"
Su Tao grabbed her by the sleeve and lifted her up. "Three years wasted in high school, and you're still stuck in this rundown place in college. If not for today, I wouldn't have known you've been bullying Little Cheng for so long!"
Liu Guijia said, aggrieved, "The previous times aside, today she was clearly bullying me!"
"Still talking tough?"
Su Tao didn't hold back, unleashing a barrage of punches that left Liu Guijia sobbing uncontrollably.
Her dyed blonde hair was already matted with dirt. She cried out loudly, "I tell you, you don't believe me, and if I don't, you think I'm stubborn! What am I supposed to do? At first, she told me to pay back the money, and when I didn't want to, I just punched her once. Who knew she'd suddenly go crazy!"
Liu Guijia was truly terrified now, saying whatever came to mind, her voice choked with grievance. "She kept saying she was the victim, and then she'd mention being a yandere or something. I felt like she was going to kill me! Why won't you believe me?!"
Where was her earlier high-spirited arrogance now?
But Su Tao actually stopped hitting her because of these words.
She frowned deeply, her face confused. "You just said, Little Cheng mentioned something about being a yandere?"
Liu Guijia wiped away her tears and nodded. "She was straddling me, toying with that knife, mumbling to herself. I told you, but you don't believe me, and you kept hitting me, telling me to tell the truth! Are you even human?!"
A flicker of guilt instinctively crossed Su Tao's mind. But then she thought, this wretch was utterly evil; she had no need to feel guilty at all.
Right now, there was something more important.
So she grabbed her by the collar and said fiercely, "Tell me exactly what happened in that room!"
She knew Little Cheng was a yandere.
But what baffled her was why Chi Xiaocheng would actively mention the term "yandere."
If she herself was aware of what a yandere was, could she still be one?
She had a vague feeling that what had happened to Chi Xiaocheng was far more complex than she had imagined.
