Chapter 262 259. Confession
259. Confession
Although An Han had taken the initiative to kiss him on the cheek, Su Peng, being a man, couldn’t help but feel like he was being teased.
It was a touch-and-go affair; before his cheek could even register the sensation, An Han had already pulled away, reassuming her cold and aloof posture. This left him hesitating on how to counter-attack.
His delivery of stir-fried noodles had arrived. He held the takeout box, eating while feeling a lingering sense of indignation. Grumpily, he tugged his shirt down lower and placed the takeout bag over his lap to hide certain "impolite" physical reactions. Fortunately, winter clothes were thick, so An Han couldn't notice anything.
"Hey, Su Peng," An Han suddenly looked up from her lunch and asked, "How many years do you plan to study abroad?"
"Two or three years, I think."
"Going during your senior year?"
"Yeah."
She nodded slightly, seemingly indifferent. "Are you coming back once a year, or...?"
"I’ll come back during the long holidays. Plane tickets aren't that expensive anyway; it’s just the back-and-forth that's a hassle."
Not that expensive... An Han thought. If they weren't expensive, her father wouldn't wait until Lunar New Year to come home just once a year. Every time her father went abroad, he would meticulously pick through tickets, looking for discounts or budget airlines, all while complaining about how lethal the prices were.
"What do you plan to do during those years?" Su Peng asked, sounding a bit nervous.
He was terrified that An Han would develop feelings for some other guy while he was gone. He knew all too well how good she was at flirting. Back when she had "no chest and no curves," she could already make his heart race; now that she had a great figure and was even prettier, she wouldn't even need to be proactive—plenty of men would be lining up.
"Just internships and work, what else is there?"
They would be entering their senior year this September, and practically speaking, she could start preparing for internships next semester. She wouldn't say she had learned nothing in university, but she was definitely clueless about her actual major.
However, she quickly noticed something odd about Su Peng. She glanced at his forced, "natural" slouch and then looked at the takeout bag perched between his thighs. A "just as I thought" smile crept onto her face.
Having once been a man herself, she could spot Su Peng’s attempts at concealment a mile away.
"An Han..."
"What?" An Han looked at him, her eyes brimming with mischief.
"I..." Su Peng paused, catching the look in her eyes.
After a moment of deliberation, he suddenly realized that An Han was intentionally provoking him! She was teasing him until he couldn't take it, only to act resistant afterward. It was the classic "push and pull" routine!
Once he figured this out, Su Peng’s courage swelled. He smiled back at her, put down his food, took a sip of water to rinse his mouth, and wiped his lips clean to ensure there was no lingering scent of food.
It was time to strike back!
He shot a "fierce" look at An Han, only to see her defiantly raise an eyebrow at him. No man could endure such a challenge!
"If you have something to say, say it. Don't just call my name and go silent," An Han muttered, pouting.
"Be my girlfriend!"
A deep crimson flush instantly flooded An Han’s face. Her skin felt incredibly hot, and even her breath felt scalding. Even though this was the result she had intentionally guided him toward, the rush of shyness still hit her like a tidal wave. Or perhaps, because she had orchestrated it, the embarrassment was even more intense.
"I guess that's fine..." An Han’s gaze drifted, not daring to look at him, but she could already feel his burning stare.
Her body trembled slightly. Trying to keep her composure, she stubbornly added, "After all, nobody else can put up with you besides me. I’ll just have to make do..."
Her shoulders shook, and her words cut off.
His arm, like a giant python, slithered around her waist while she was panicked, sliding under her sweater. She felt as though she could count every line on his palm; with every inch his hand moved across her skin, her body trembled more violently.
Are there cameras in this private booth?
Am I giving in too easily?
Will Su Peng stop treasuring me if I’m this easy?
Just as these questions flashed through her mind, she saw Su Peng’s face suddenly enlarge in her vision. She instinctively tried to dodge, but his large hand firmly controlled her waist. She could only lean back, her flexible waist arching as she was pinned against the armrest of the sofa.
Su Peng’s chest was almost pressed against hers. His scorching masculine aura swept through her like an unstoppable force, shattering her will to resist in an instant.
"Mmph~"
Her eyes went wide. She vividly felt Su Peng’s body heat and experienced that tender entanglement. His hand was still exploring her waist like a spark of fire, completely igniting her body.
Her legs had already reflexively pressed together tightly, and her arms wound around Su Peng’s broad shoulders.
It actually feels... pretty good...
Though it had only been a second or two, her "sensitivity" attribute caused a physical reaction she couldn't stop, and her eyes grew misty with tears.
When the two finally separated and Su Peng straightened up, An Han was still lying dazed against the sofa armrest, her eyes unfocused and her soul seemingly gone as she stared blankly at the ceiling.
"What’s wrong?" Su Peng suddenly got nervous. Did he misinterpret things again and make her angry? If he messed up this time, they might not even be able to stay friends.
"Ah~"
A soft, charming moan escaped her, making Su Peng nearly lose his restraint. If they were at home or in a hotel, he would have likely been completely overcome by his impulses.
An Han gradually came to her senses and sat up. She lowered her head and slapped her flushed cheeks with both hands. She used to think that kissing was just a symbolic ritual.
But it felt so good...
Shifting her seat uneasily, An Han felt a slight discomfort and frowned. She pretended as if nothing had happened, her face still bright red as she continued eating the leftovers.
"Does it taste good?"
Su Peng breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't look angry; in fact, she looked like she had enjoyed it. "I eat at this place a lot when I'm home. The flavor is great, I figured it would suit your taste."
"I asked... does it taste good?" An Han repeated.
"..." Su Peng’s thick skin finally hit its limit. His already racing heart hammered even faster. He rubbed his nose sheepishly. "It’s... fragrant and sweet."
She really is a temptress! he thought. She moves my heart so easily! Since An Han had lived in a male dormitory for so long, she clearly understood men’s preferences and knew exactly how to push his buttons.
"And here I thought it would just taste like fried noodles," An Han laughed.
"..."
"By the way..." She lowered her head and began searching for nearby hotels on her phone. "I need to go to a hotel to rest for a bit."
Su Peng was stunned. Was the progress moving that fast?
"You don't need to come up. I'll just get a room for a few hours." An Han stole a glance at her pants; certain areas had turned noticeably darker.
Mirroring Su Peng’s earlier move, she draped her trench coat over her lap to cover up. She then put the coat on, buttoning it up tightly until she was wrapped up like a cocoon, leaving only her head and calves visible.
She stood up somewhat awkwardly. "Let's go."
"I won't feel right if I don't follow you."
"Then you wait for me downstairs. I'm just going to take a shower."
