Chapter 62 062. “And you still claim you’re a guy?”

Nov 22, 2025 1,499 words

“Ever since that damn system showed up, nothing’s gone right!”

“Why didn’t I notice before that my classmates were so easygoing? Now they all act like they’ve lost their minds!”

An Han collapsed onto the grass of the sports field, exhaling heavily. He leaned back and flopped flat onto his back.

The sky was pitch black—no stars in sight—mirroring the darkness of his mood.

Whenever he felt down, he liked coming to the track to run until he was utterly exhausted, so he wouldn’t have the energy to dwell on all those bizarre, troubling thoughts.

Sweat kept dripping relentlessly down his cheeks. He tugged at his collar, trying to cool off, but after glancing around and confirming no one he knew was nearby, he finally decided to just take off his jacket.

After all, the lights in the middle of the field were dim, and there weren’t any familiar faces around. Even if someone spotted the subtle swell of his chest, they’d probably just assume he was a girl.

“At least it was Charm that increased this time. If I’d gotten even more feminine, things would’ve been seriously dangerous back in the dorm,” he muttered to himself.

He’d never really felt any tangible benefit from Charm points, but he was secretly relieved this time. If it had been another “Physique” stat boost, he’d be completely flat—and indistinguishable from an actual girl. And if it had been a “Body Shape” increase… well, his chest would’ve become impossible to hide.

Lost in thought, he didn’t notice when another student suddenly sat down beside him.

He paid it no mind at first, yawning as he pondered how to lower Su Peng’s and Long Xing’s favorability.

Their affection for him had gotten way too high, making them absurdly tolerant of him. Even petty pranks or minor annoyances no longer had any effect. But if he went too far, he might actually get punched.

Back in the day, his body could take a hit or two—but ever since those “Body Shape” stats started piling on, he’d only grown more fragile.

Though… if his stats maxed out completely, maybe he could even beat up Su Peng and Long Xing. After all, neither of them would ever lay a hand on a girl.

An Han groaned inwardly, letting out occasional sighs about how tough life had become.

“What’s got you so worked up? Sighing like that,” the student beside him suddenly spoke up.

An Han froze, turned slowly—and the moment he saw the guy’s face, his expression twisted in alarm. He scrambled backward like he’d seen a ghost.

Is this dude insane?

“Do I look that scary? Why are you so freaked out?” the guy asked, confused.

It’s not your face—it’s your behavior that’s terrifying!

An Han forced a weak smile and quickly looked away.

But the student wasn’t letting go. He scooted closer. “Hey, beautiful—wanna add me on WeChat? I’m Honor of Kings ranked, can carry you in games.”

So he really *was* being hit on—as a girl?

An Han lifted his head and stared directly into the other student’s eyes.

Since he didn’t know the guy’s name, he couldn’t check his favorability—but it was obvious enough: this dude thought he was flirting with a girl.

And that “girl” was him.

After a brief pause, An Han suddenly dropped into a deep, gruff, “uncle” voice: “What the heck, bro? I’m a dude, man!”

“Holy sh—!” The student nearly jumped out of his skin. His face went rigid with shock, then he shot to his feet and bolted without looking back. “Sorry to bother you!”

Watching the guy flee in sheer panic, An Han burst out laughing, slapping his thigh in amusement. He even called out cheerfully, “Hey, bro! Where you running off to? Still want that WeChat?!”

The student didn’t dare turn around—the speed of his escape only increased.

An Han laughed until tears welled in his eyes.

“Hitting on *me*?” he snorted mockingly once he caught his breath. “Overconfident little clown!”

But as the laughter faded, his mood didn’t lift at all.

So this Charm boost actually got him approached by a random guy?

And not just any guy—a *male*!

An Han used to daydream about Charm attracting girls… Now, his face turned green at the thought.

Even though he’d long since given up on expecting anything useful from the system, being hit on by a man was a first.

Strangely, though he thought he’d feel disgusted, there was a weird, quiet pleasure deep down—like part of him was flattered that someone thought he was pretty.

Silently, he pulled his jacket back on, stood up from the grass, and started walking toward the restroom.

It wasn’t just today—even earlier, when he noticed how unusually tolerant Su Peng and Long Xing had become, he’d felt an odd, inexplicable happiness.

Back then, he’d chalked it up to the thrill of mischief. But now… it seemed more complicated than that.

“Damn system!”

He cursed the system’s ancestors out of habit—then suddenly froze.

If his increased Charm could make a *stranger* hit on him for his WeChat… wouldn’t its effect be even stronger on his dormmates and classmates—people he saw every day?

That meant lowering Su Peng’s and Long Xing’s favorability would be even harder now.

The realization hit him like a ton of bricks. Anxiety coiled tighter in his chest—and for the first time, he felt a strong urge to avoid the dorm altogether.

He got along well with his counselor… Maybe he could beg to move off-campus?

Lost in thought, he reached the restroom entrance. He glanced at the signs—“Men” on the left, “Women” on the right—and without hesitation, strode into the men’s.

Even if one day he *did* become a full-on girl, he’d never admit it. Right now, he was just… slightly feminine-looking. That’s all.

Inside the restroom, he noticed another student using a urinal. He walked toward the standing urinal himself, about to pull his pants down—then suddenly hesitated.

He’d been avoiding it, but the truth was undeniable: what used to be a proud 18 centimeters was now… pathetically small.

In the past, he might’ve even challenged the guy next to him to a… size comparison. Now? All he felt was shame.

Just as he turned to slink into a stall, the other student—face bright red—quickly zipped up his pants and stammered, “Uh… miss? This is the *men’s* restroom.”

An Han’s expression didn’t flicker. He glanced at the guy’s now-damp trousers, then walked past him into a stall as if he hadn’t heard a word.

He almost wanted to laugh—but his nose stung with an unexpected ache.

“Couldn’t *I* have walked into the wrong one?” the student muttered, turning to check the restroom sign—but after two steps, he glanced back at the urinal. “Wait… do women’s restrooms even *have* those? That can’t be right…”

“Could that person actually be a guy…?”

Still confused, he was startled when An Han emerged from the stall, face unreadable.

“I’m a guy,” An Han stated flatly—then walked briskly out before the student could respond.

Looks like even public restrooms are off-limits now, he thought glumly.

But then, on impulse, he made a sharp turn—and marched confidently toward the *women’s* restroom next door.

The system’s already ruined my life. Indulging a long-held curiosity can’t be *that* unreasonable, right?

He peeked inside the women’s restroom—and his curious expression instantly froze.

It wasn’t at all what he’d imagined. Especially the smell.

He’d assumed that even if not every girl smelled like perfume, at least the restroom would have some scented air freshener or something. But in reality, the stench was *far* worse than the men’s.

Granted, the men’s wasn’t exactly pristine—but this place carried a distinct, heavy *fishy* odor.

A chaotic mix of strange, pungent smells hit him all at once. Before he could even register the layout, he was already stumbling backward, eyes watering, fleeing in alarm.

Who knew how long the restrooms by the field had been in use? No amount of cleaning could fully erase that sharp ammonia reek.

“…And you still say you’re a guy,” the same student muttered quietly by the sinks outside, watching as An Han came out of the *women’s* restroom.
