Chapter 88 Author’s Note on Launch Day
The book goes live on the platform tonight at midnight.
I originally wanted to write a male-lead novel some time ago, but after struggling for two whole months—earning absolutely nothing—I still couldn’t produce anything I was proud of. Every time I tried to explore something new, I ended up retreating at the first sign of difficulty, stuck in place, clinging to my comfort zone.
This book’s performance hasn’t been great so far, but I still need to make a living. Abandoning it isn’t an option—I’ll at least keep writing to qualify for the monthly full-attendance bonus, which helps cover some household expenses.
I know my update speed hasn’t been ideal, but after launch, I’ll do my best to consistently release two chapters a day.
My bookmark count is disappointing, so I don’t have high expectations for the results. I just hope the monthly vote count won’t be too embarrassing.
