Chapter 297 294. The Drunk Su Peng
“You can’t even drink, yet you insisted on drinking!”
“You must have done it on purpose—just because my rental has two rooms, you’re trying every trick to stay the night, aren’t you?!”
Struggling to support Su Peng, An Han carefully maintained their fragile balance. Freeing one hand, she opened the door to the rental apartment.
She could have sent him to a hotel, but staying here was clearly cheaper.
Besides, they had only gone out for dinner, and neither of them had brought their ID cards.
“You need to lose weight! You’re so heavy…”
Su Peng vaguely heard An Han’s complaints. He placed one hand against the wall to steady himself so that most of his weight wouldn’t press down on An Han’s small frame.
But An Han smelled really nice…
A little entranced, he rested his chin on top of her head again, his nose filled with the fragrance of shampoo and the scent of a girl.
“Hey, don’t move around!”
An Han almost lost her balance. She quickly grabbed the doorknob with one hand and wrapped the other arm around Su Peng’s waist.
After entering the room, she carefully helped Su Peng sit down on the sofa, then looked toward the second bedroom with a headache.
The second bedroom only had a wooden bed frame—no mattress, no blankets, no pillows. It was completely empty and impossible to sleep in.
She could go buy bedding after today, but tonight Su Peng could only sleep on the sofa, and he’d have to use An Han’s thin summer air-conditioning blanket. She wasn’t sure if he’d catch a cold.
“You just sleep here. The sofa’s pretty big anyway. I’ll get you a blanket.”
Before leaving, her parents had repeatedly warned her not to bring anyone else into the house. Yet less than half a day later, a grown man was already staying there.
And he was the type who coveted her body.
An Han felt a little guilty too. She was afraid Su Peng might use his drunkenness as an excuse to do something to her. But when she came out of the bedroom with the blanket, she saw that Su Peng was already lying sideways on the sofa with his legs dangling down, brows tightly furrowed. He looked so miserable that let alone doing anything to her, he probably couldn’t even stand up.
In this state, Su Peng probably couldn’t even get it up.
She sighed in relief, covered him with the blanket, then squatted down and somewhat clumsily took off his shoes and socks.
Fortunately, there was no foot odor… but she still tossed the shoes and socks under the coffee table in disgust.
Looks like Su Peng really was drunk.
Just as she was feeling relieved, she suddenly sensed a gaze resting on her face. Following the direction of the gaze, she realized Su Peng had opened his eyes at some point and was quietly observing her.
Her guard immediately went up again.
With over a hundred points of affection toward her, who knew what Su Peng might do?
“You…”
“Get me a bottle of water,” Su Peng said hoarsely, looking at the bottle of mineral water on the coffee table.
An Han opened it and handed it to him, then sat down on the glass coffee table and looked down at him.
“You’re not allowed to drink in the future either.” She frowned slightly, clearly not liking the sight of Su Peng drunk.
“Mm.” Leaning against the armrest of the sofa, Su Peng barely propped up his upper body and chugged an entire bottle of water in one go.
Only then did his mind feel somewhat clearer, though a throbbing pain deep in his head still made him uncomfortable.
“You only drank five or six bottles… Obviously you can’t drink, yet you still tried to show off.”
An Han muttered. If it were her, drinking slowly while eating and chatting, she could probably finish a whole case without getting drunk.
At Long Xing’s birthday gathering before, she had gotten drunk only because she drank too quickly.
“Brother Long never forces people to drink. He was just emotionally off today. Don’t blame him.”
“And when you sleep tonight, don’t take off your clothes. The blanket’s too thin—I’m afraid you’ll catch a cold.”
“Oh right, I’ll get a towel so you can wash your face.”
An Han hurriedly stood up and ran into the bathroom. A moment later she came back with a damp towel and vigorously wiped Su Peng’s face up and down.
Last National Day, when Su Peng got drunk in the dormitory, she seemed to have taken care of him like this too.
Thinking back to last year, she asked curiously, “Last National Day… did you already have your eye on me?”
In his drunken state, Su Peng answered without thinking, “A little. You were pretty cute even back then.”
Cute… Back then An Han definitely wasn’t pretty. “Cute” was probably the only word that could describe her.
“Hmph, you’re pretty perverted then…”
At that time Su Peng’s affection toward her wasn’t that high, she wasn’t pretty, and no one had realized she was actually a girl. Yet Su Peng still didn’t seem to mind either way.
“Alright, go to sleep. You’ll feel better after a nap.” An Han stretched lazily, feeling a little sleepy herself.
“Wait. I’m going to take a shower.”
Using his arms to support himself, Su Peng stood up while holding the back of the sofa. His mind was fairly clear, but his steps were unsteady—he swayed with every step.
An Han was worried he might fall before even reaching the bathroom, so she quickly moved over, lifted his arm over her shoulder, and steadied him.
“Don’t fall asleep in the shower.”
“Mm…”
An Han’s body trembled slightly. Turning her head, she realized Su Peng’s mouth and nose were close to her sensitive earlobe. As he spoke and breathed, his heavy, warm breath continuously brushed against her ear.
The faint ticklish sensation made her uncomfortable. A blush spread from her ear down across her cheeks.
She was trying to support Su Peng’s body, but in reality it felt more like she was being held in his arms. She was surrounded by the strong smell of alcohol and the scorching warmth of his body.
Her mind wasn’t thinking anything strange, yet her body gradually heated up. The occasional breath brushing against her earlobe sent strange tingling sensations through her.
After finally helping Su Peng into the bathroom, An Han suddenly remembered there weren’t any spare towels in the house.
“I’ll go buy you a towel. Wait for me.”
Just as she was about to leave, she saw Su Peng already pick up her bath cloth and stagger into the shower area separated by a glass door.
“Well… that works too.”
She could just buy another one later anyway.
An Han shook her head helplessly, only to see Su Peng casually begin taking off his clothes.
She didn’t feel the usual embarrassment most girls would when seeing a man’s body—after all, back in the boys’ dorm she had already seen Su Peng naked plenty of times.
Leaning against the doorway, she reminded him again, “Throw your clothes out. You don’t have spare clothes here—don’t get them wet.”
“Mm.”
When Su Peng was dressed, he looked gentle and scholarly. But when he took off his shirt and revealed his well-built muscles, the contrast was striking.
Just look at that V-shaped Adonis belt… and that lean, smooth waist.
An Han stared openly at those lines. That was exactly the kind of physique she had once pursued.
Su Peng’s muscles weren’t the huge rock-like ones of a bodybuilding athlete, nor did they give off an overwhelming sense of pressure. Instead, they had smooth, flowing lines that fit ordinary aesthetics much better.
Catching the shirt he tossed out of the shower, An Han didn’t plan on watching him take off his pants. She grabbed a basin from the side and placed it on the floor.
“Just throw them in the basin.”
He still had to wear those clothes later, so they couldn’t just be thrown on the ground.
After leaving the bathroom, An Han muttered quietly,
“If the system had been normal, maybe I’d have had a body like Su Peng’s…”
“Though… in a certain sense, I could get his body anytime now.”
