Chapter 308 305. Words
[Mission completed. Reward obtained: “flirtatious outfit.”]
While they were eating, Su Peng noticed An Han almost spit out her food. When she realized he was watching her, her face suddenly turned red.
The redness quickly spread to the rims of her ears and her earlobes, soft and pink—so cute it made people want to kiss her.
But inside, An Han was grumbling angrily. This system really never gave anything useful! Fortunately it was just a piece of clothing. As long as she didn’t wear it, she wouldn’t fall into its trap.
[Flirtatious Outfit: Clothing that perfectly highlights charm and figure, capable of captivating men.]
Stop explaining it to me, damn it!
She lowered her head even further, but couldn’t help secretly glancing at Su Peng beside her.
Suddenly she kind of wanted to see what Su Peng would look like when he was “captivated”...
He’d probably end up in the obstetrics department!
An Han quickly suppressed that mischievous and reckless thought, yet her head already felt like a boiling kettle, burning with heat.
Su Peng stopped eating, simply watching her with a gentle gaze, staring at the adorable sight of her flushed face. He couldn’t resist the urge to tease her and joked,
“What dirty thoughts are running through that little head of yours?”
“I’m not!”
An Han bared her teeth and claws, defending herself.
“Not honest at all.”
If he hadn’t known her for three years, Su Peng might really have thought she was a shy, innocent, extremely conservative girl.
Back when she sent him erotic pictures, she never seemed shy at all.
And whenever they discussed adult anime, she would get unusually excited.
“Want to get beaten up, huh!” An Han glared at him, embarrassed and annoyed, pulling out her “master’s authority.” “You even dare tease your master now! Getting bold, aren’t you!”
Su Peng suddenly felt that the identity of master and disciple actually had a certain… interesting flavor to it.
He paused for a moment, then called out meaningfully,
“Master.”
“Why does that sound so perverted… Don’t call me that like that anymore.”
An Han immediately chickened out, shrinking her neck and obediently continuing to eat.
“Okay, Master.”
Her blushing face and timid eyes always made people want to bully her even more.
Especially when she acted stubborn and reckless with her words while still being shy—it always made Su Peng lose control a little.
Fortunately, An Han found something to change the topic. She noticed Ren Chi walking into the cafeteria, followed closely by Long Xing.
“So Brother Long has completely figured things out?”
An Han quickly shifted Su Peng’s attention toward Long Xing.
A counselor and a student—and both male… She really couldn’t quite accept that kind of relationship, whether morally or ethically.
But it was still exciting to watch! After all, she was just here for the drama.
“Is he chasing Brother Ren?!”
Her eyes lit up as she looked at Ren Chi’s stiff steps and expression. The awkwardness radiating from him made her feel it personally.
Too tragic~
Back during the National Day holiday when Long Xing discovered the person he liked was actually An Han, she had felt just as embarrassed.
“Doesn’t look like it,” Su Peng said as he also watched the two with interest.
Ren Chi had already hurried away, while Long Xing stood frozen where he was.
He sighed softly, then noticed the couple An Han and Su Peng.
He originally wanted to say something, but seeing how close the two were, a sour feeling rose in his chest. In the end, he simply left the cafeteria.
“What’s going on?”
An Han couldn’t understand what just happened and asked curiously, “Did Brother Long give up?”
“Maybe. After all, the counselor is a guy.”
Hearing that, she rolled her eyes at Su Peng. After all, back when he didn’t know An Han was actually a girl, he had been quite enthusiastic too.
She pushed her tray toward him.
“You eat the rest. I’m full.”
An Han never had a big appetite. When eating alone in the cafeteria, one meat dish and one vegetable dish were enough for her.
But Su Peng had bought four dishes and a soup for her, so before she finished her rice, she was already full, leaving half the dishes untouched.
Su Peng glanced at the leftovers and hesitated.
“Should I just throw it away?”
“That’s such a waste…” An Han simply began putting the leftover food into Su Peng’s bowl, speaking softly and kindly, “You’re a big man. Eat more.”
“I’m afraid I’ll get fat if I eat too much,” Su Peng muttered while eating.
“It’s good if you get a little fat~”
Then fewer girls would try to steal her man.
Realizing what she was thinking, Su Peng looked up at her strangely.
“Why are you so possessive of me today?”
“When was I?”
Back when she used to be a man, her possessiveness had always been strong. It was just that today she finally felt a sense of crisis.
Su Peng didn’t think much about it. With his mouth full of food, he said unclearly,
“You’re so pretty. Are you really worried I’d fall for another girl?”
An Han was silent for a moment before murmuring quietly,
“There will always be girls prettier than me.”
“Have a little confidence in yourself—and a little confidence in me, okay?”
Su Peng quickly finished the rest of the food. Leaning back in his chair, his stomach slightly rounder than usual, he took a breath before continuing,
“I only like you. I always have.”
An Han’s earlobes felt hot, and she awkwardly avoided his gaze.
It was just a simple statement, yet her heart began racing and her body stiffened.
Su Peng rarely said things like that…
An Han hurriedly stood up, lowering her head as she rushed toward the cafeteria exit.
“I’m going back. I need a nap at noon, or I’ll get sleepy during class this afternoon.”
“An Han!”
She stopped and looked back at him.
“I love you.”
Inside the crowded cafeteria, several nearby students turned their heads toward the two of them at the same time.
Ahhh!!!
An Han felt her blood rush upward instantly. Her face flushed bright red as she screamed internally and ran straight out of the cafeteria with her head down.
In public! With so many people around! Why would you say something like that?!
You’ve never said it even when we’re alone!
Shyness and embarrassment surged through her heart. Her heart seemed to bounce wildly inside her chest, the pounding “thump thump” echoing in her ears.
After running out of the cafeteria, she instinctively went to a banyan tree where no one was around. It was only about a hundred meters away, yet she was already panting heavily from the excitement.
Su Peng soon came out of the cafeteria. After glancing around, he walked toward her.
“What’s wrong with you all of a sudden?!” An Han scolded him with a flushed face, hands on her hips.
“Just helping you feel more secure so you won’t keep overthinking,” Su Peng said with a grin as he approached.
What he said sounded righteous, but in reality he was just teasing her.
“So you know that the one I love most is only you. Then you won’t worry about other girls.”
“……”
Her face had just cooled slightly in the breeze, but the heat surged back again, making her head dizzy.
She was completely overwhelmed by the sudden combo of attacks. In a daze, she muttered,
“You just did it on purpose to see me get embarrassed…”
“Correct. No reward.”
