Chapter 76 076. Is An Han a girl?
An Han had been relieved—his mission was accomplished, and he could finally take off the chest binder and end Wang Yu’s charmed state.
But there was no way he could just remove the binder in the bathroom and walk out holding it openly! That would make things even harder to explain!
Who could’ve predicted that Wang Yu—who’d just used the bathroom moments ago—would suddenly go back in again?!
Pacing anxiously around the hotel room, An Han could only hope Wang Yu hadn’t noticed the binder he’d casually left on the sink. If he had… there was absolutely no reasonable excuse An Han could give.
Finally, the bathroom door opened.
An Han spun around nervously, his wide, dark eyes locked onto Wang Yu.
But Wang Yu acted as if nothing had happened. He yawned, flopped onto the bed, and mumbled, “I’m sleeping.”
He wasn’t used to sharing a room with someone unfamiliar—but oddly, despite not knowing An Han for long, all his guard had dropped.
“Oh…”
An Han kept his head down. Only after Wang Yu stayed still for a while did he slowly lift his eyes, cautiously observing him. Seeing no sign that Wang Yu had noticed the binder in the bathroom, he let out a quiet sigh of relief.
He tiptoed into the bathroom—but froze the moment he stepped inside.
The binder had clearly been moved.
It had been left on the sink—but now it was tossed carelessly onto the towel rack.
He definitely saw it!
Yet Wang Yu hadn’t said a word.
Could it be because his rising fondness made him avoid creating awkwardness between them?
An Han’s mind buzzed with suspicion as he stuffed the binder into his handbag.
More and more people were discovering his secret.
He hoped Wang Yu would handle it like Ren Chi had—keep silent, maintain unspoken understanding—so An Han wouldn’t have to fabricate excuses. As for what Wang Yu might be thinking… as long as he didn’t ask, An Han didn’t care.
“Thank goodness Wang Yu barely overlaps with my social circle,” An Han muttered, patting his chest in relief.
Wang Yu only knew Long Xing and Wang Sheng—the latter being his gaming buddy. Logically, he wouldn’t tell either of them about this.
Time to go!
Even without the binder’s charm effect boosting attraction, An Han couldn’t bear to stay in this room any longer.
He crept back in, tiptoed to the bedside, and gently unplugged his phone charger from the socket, moving as silently as possible.
After slipping the charger and cable into his bag, he instinctively glanced at Wang Yu on the bed.
Admittedly… the guy was pretty handsome—especially asleep. The usual cold, rigid expression was gone, replaced by a faint, alcohol-induced flush on his cheeks.
He’s got about 30% of Jin Binyu’s charm!
His fashion sense, though, was just as basic as An Han’s—clothes were either black or white, almost never anything else. Then again, most male students dressed that way; stylish, fashion-forward guys were practically nonexistent on campus.
Still, this minimalist style did look clean, sharp, and undeniably handsome—never outright ugly.
Which meant… maybe I should go buy some pretty gir—
An Han abruptly caught himself, shaking his head violently.
No way! There’s no way I’d ever willingly wear women’s clothes! Not even if they’re gorgeous!
This “Aesthetic Trait” is seriously messing with me—it’s trying to trick me into crossdressing!
Perhaps because of his lingering gaze, Wang Yu’s eyelashes fluttered. He half-opened his eyes and looked up at An Han standing by the bed.
An Han instantly straightened up, a blush blooming uncontrollably on his cheeks.
Why did he wake up now? Please don’t bring up the binder…
Just then, he realized Wang Yu’s eyes had drifted down—to his chest.
Even under the jacket, the subtle contours were faintly visible.
Wang Yu opened his mouth as if to ask something—but swallowed the question. Instead, he simply asked, “Aren’t you sleeping?”
“Well…”
“Going out?”
“Uh… yeah. Going to grab some late-night snacks.”
Wang Yu watched him leave, a vague sense of something being “off” nagging at him—but he couldn’t pinpoint what.
It had just been a normal hangout… and An Han, though undeniably pretty, didn’t fit his usual type at all. Yet earlier, he’d felt strangely spellbound.
Alcohol doesn’t make you *that* way… especially not toward another guy, right?
Now, the intense urge was gone—but his fondness for An Han remained, instinctive and warm. His suspicion melted away, replaced by an inexplicable lightness in his mood.
…But why was An Han wearing women’s underwear?
Only when An Han was already at the door did Wang Yu notice he’d taken his handbag—and even packed small things like the charger.
Clearly, An Han had no intention of staying the night.
So cautious…
Though still drunk, Wang Yu’s thoughts were oddly clear—just drifting in strange directions.
Could An Han actually be a girl living in the boys’ dorm?
Under normal circumstances, that idea would’ve sounded absurd—but right now, it suddenly felt very plausible.
Otherwise, how could a boy look so feminine? Why would he wear women’s undergarments? And why were his gestures and posture so naturally graceful—so clearly practiced to appear feminine, yet constantly being consciously restrained?
Wang Yu didn’t know the difference between a compression binder and regular lingerie. To him, An Han’s binder looked like the kind of sports bra or undershirt worn by young girls just starting puberty.
...
Early the next morning, An Han returned to the dorm looking exhausted.
As soon as he stepped inside, he saw Wang Sheng still gaming at his computer. Suppressing a yawn, An Han dropped his bag and headed straight to the balcony to wash up.
“Why didn’t you come back last night?” Wang Sheng set down his mouse and turned around. “What were you up to?”
“I told you—I had a high school friend visit. Spent the whole night with him,” An Han replied while brushing his teeth. “We stayed at an internet café all night. Didn’t get any sleep.”
“An internet café?”
“Yeah. What about it?”
“Then how come I saw you online on your phone?”
“…”
Since when did you become my wife?! Why are you tracking me so closely?!
An Han quickly improvised, “I didn’t log into QQ at the café—afraid someone’d steal my account.”
In truth, he’d checked into another single room alone last night—but barely slept. His mind kept racing about Wang Yu discovering his secret, leaving him tense and restless until dawn.
After splashing water on his face, he returned inside and glanced toward the bunk bed. “What time did those two get back?”
“Around midnight. They came back together.”
“Huh…” An Han suddenly smirked. “Don’t tell me you stayed up all night worried about me?”
Wang Sheng blinked, then turned bright red. “N-no! It’s just—Wang Yu mentioned there might be a competition in November, so I’m practicing!”
“Wang Yu?”
But he should’ve been asleep after I left…
“What else did he say?”
Wang Sheng stole another glance at An Han’s delicate features—and suddenly understood what Wang Yu meant. Flustered, he quickly turned back to his screen.
Scratching his head, he tried to change the subject, unwilling to expose An Han’s secret or risk guessing wrong and ruining their roommate relationship: “N-nothing else… just that he’s thinking of organizing a tournament but is stressed about sponsors.”
“I’d still compete even without prize money—I’m just worried no one else will sign up.”
An Han narrowed his eyes suspiciously at the back of Wang Sheng’s head.
He’s definitely hiding something!
Did Wang Yu tell him about my binder?!
