Chapter 96 095. Men Should Be More Confident

Dec 09, 2025 1,543 words

An Han stood with his back turned to his two roommates, nervously pressing his thighs together as he anxiously listened to their conversation behind him. He worried that even a brief glance from Chen Junjie might expose his identity.

But it seemed he hadn’t been recognized after all.

He secretly glanced over his shoulder at the two of them, then quickly lowered his head again, guiltily.

If Chen Junjie found out who he really was while dressed like this—it would be social suicide!

“Bro Long, this girl’s waist is seriously tiny.”

Head bowed, An Han listened to Chen Junjie’s admiring comment. Shame surged through him—but oddly, a sense of achievement bubbled up alongside it.

This guy was always so mouthy whenever they met normally, but today he was actually saying something nice for once.

“Hey, Bro Long, what does this girl’s face even look like? Don’t tell me she’s just got a killer back view but a disappointing face!”

“Your whole family’s a ‘back view killer’!” An Han muttered inwardly.

“Come on, let’s go. Nothing to see here,” Long Xing urged, dragging Chen Junjie in another direction.

“But didn’t you say you liked her? Go get her WeChat!”

“Who said I liked her?”

Chen Junjie teased, “Your reaction just now wasn’t liking her? Seriously?”

Long Xing kept dragging him away without answering, secretly worried Chen Junjie might accidentally reveal that this wasn’t the first time he’d fallen for An Han in girls’ clothes.

But honestly... when An Han put on makeup and dressed up in that alluring outfit, he really was captivating. Compared to his previous attempts at cross-dressing, this look was leagues ahead—elegant, refined, and undeniably pretty.

If his earlier female disguises had only rated average, this time—with makeup, figure, and styling combined—he easily scored an 8 out of 10!

He’d probably lose points only because of his flat chest and youthful, underdeveloped curves...

Damn. How the hell could this still be a guy?! If An Han were actually a girl, she’d be absolutely devastating!

Just as they were about to get far enough away, Long Xing couldn’t help but turn back for one last look. An Han had finally turned around, and Long Xing’s eyes instinctively dropped to his chest.

Wait—he actually had *boobs*?!

The tightly fitted qipao outlined a pair of small, delicate curves—so tiny, in fact, that groping him probably wouldn’t even count as harassment.

Long Xing’s own pecs were bigger than that.

Seeing his roommates finally disappear into the crowd, An Han let out a long-held breath. The stubborn blush on his face began to fade slightly.

He looked down at his outfit and sighed in despair.

And he still had a whole day left like this!

The air conditioning in the venue was too cold—his bare legs felt icy and uncomfortable.

The skirt was also way too short. Combined with the high side slits designed for ease of movement, he constantly feared accidental exposure. Even though he was wearing boxers underneath, the anxiety never left him.

“An Han~” Lin Yi sidled up with a playful smile. “Your roommates seem really into your girl look, huh?”

“Don’t even remind me…”

An Han hung his head, protesting weakly, “I told you I didn’t want to wear makeup. You insisted that if I did, even people who knew me wouldn’t recognize me.”

If it hadn’t been for Lin Yi’s persuasion, he never would’ve agreed to wear makeup—and yet, despite the full transformation with wig and cosmetics, Long Xing had seen right through him immediately.

He checked his reflection again in his phone’s front camera, still unable to figure out how Long Xing had recognized him.

The makeup and wig had completely erased any trace of masculinity. His current appearance was nothing like his previous cross-dressing attempts—there shouldn’t have been any obvious giveaways, not even in his eyebrows or facial structure.

“Stop daydreaming.”

“Okay…” An Han lifted his head—and froze.

Two guys had appeared in front of him without warning, snapping photos with their phones.

“Hey, cutie! Strike a pose for us!”

An Han stiffened, unsure whether he should comply.

But Lin Yi already had an arm draped over his shoulder, leaning into him casually and flashing the two guys a practiced, sweet smile—as if she’d done this a hundred times before.

He could only manage a timid, blushing smile in return, which only seemed to excite the two men even more.

Though their spot was somewhat secluded, once An Han and Lin Yi—two stunning “girls”—appeared together, more and more people started gathering. Soon, their booth was completely surrounded by a growing crowd.

Forced into “duty,” An Han gritted his teeth and accepted the photo requests. As time went on, he gradually relaxed a little.

These fans were enthusiastic but respectful—keeping a polite distance of two or three meters, taking photos without getting too close. Some even got excitedly chatting about hanfu and qipao before heading into the nearby shop.

Listening to the murmurs around him, An Han’s cheeks ached from forcing smiles—but strangely, his mood kept lifting. His initial embarrassment slowly melted away, and he even started posing alongside Lin Yi more naturally.

During a brief lull, he whispered to Lin Yi, “Wait—isn’t qipao technically not hanfu? And doesn’t it feel kinda out of place selling this at a cosplay expo?”

“A lot of cosplayers also love hanfu,” Lin Yi explained casually. “The shop owner just added qipaos as a new product line—trying to expand the business. Who knows? Maybe it’ll blow up.”

“I see… Uh, where’s the restroom?”

Lin Yi suddenly turned to him with a mischievous grin. “Are you gonna use the men’s or women’s bathroom?”

“The men’s, obviously?”

Even in full girl attire, using the men’s restroom here wouldn’t raise eyebrows—people would probably just marvel at another “cross-dressing queen.”

“You’d better use the women’s! Don’t let the shop owner find out you’re a guy! Just around the corner ahead.”

An Han looked at the nearly complete circle of onlookers surrounding them. After a moment of hesitation, he lowered his head and began tiptoeing through the crowd in tiny, careful steps.

“Excuse me… please move aside a bit…”

People obediently parted, watching him pass while whispering among themselves:

“She’s so cute!”
“Yeah, super pretty—but kinda flat-chested.”
“Looks like her first time? She seems really shy.”
“Those legs are insane! Shame she’s wearing safety shorts.”

Their comments didn’t faze An Han. He kept a straight face, secretly imagining their reactions if he suddenly pulled out an 18-centimeter surprise.

And for the record—it wasn’t “safety shorts”! It was just regular underwear, albeit in a different style than they expected.

Though still a little self-conscious, An Han realized he actually *liked* all this admiration—a strange sense of triumph washed over him, as if he’d successfully charmed all these men.

That sense of victory triggered a rush of dopamine, lifting his spirits higher than ever.

But the moment he stepped into the restroom and caught sight of himself in the mirror, his euphoria crashed all at once.

“What the hell am I so happy about?!”

He was being stared at by a bunch of guys! Shouldn’t he feel disgusted or humiliated?!

Splashing cold water on his face, he lifted his dripping head and stared into the eyes of the mirror image—someone who looked absolutely nothing like a man anymore.

Fine, so the system had forced this body on him—but he couldn’t let his mind turn twisted too!

“I’m not a cross-dresser, okay? I’m a normal, straight guy!”

“I…”

Suddenly, he heard footsteps approaching from behind. He instantly straightened up and silently walked toward the men’s restroom.

He couldn’t start avoiding public men’s rooms just because he feared judgmental stares!

Men should be more confident!
