Chapter 323 320. Su Yichang
Su Peng’s birthday, huh~
Over the past few days, An Han had become a little anxious because of this.
The task required her to help Su Peng relieve his worries on his birthday. Although her personal bottom line could always shift dynamically and adjust flexibly, doing something like that was still a bit too embarrassing.
Maybe a normal girl would feel shy, disgusted, or unwilling. But she understood male anatomy no less than Su Peng did. It wasn’t disgust she felt—rather, it was an overwhelming sense of shame. Even just thinking about it made her body tremble uncontrollably.
Too terrifying!
Luckily she had become a girl. If she were still a guy...
And what if Su Peng got carried away at that moment? She’d probably just end up completely giving in.
“What are you thinking about? Why is your face so red?” Su Peng tapped the desk lightly with his slender fingers. “Class is over already and you’re still spacing out?”
An Han stared blankly at the space between Su Peng’s legs as he stood up, which happened to be level with her line of sight above the desk.
No, no—this is way too scary!
Using her hand might be one thing, but Su Peng might push things further and ask for something even more terrifying!
She knew exactly what men were like.
Su Peng looked even more puzzled and tapped her head directly this time. “Wake up. What weird things are you thinking about again?”
“Nothing! What are you talking about!”
An Han immediately denied it, shaking her head like a rattling drum.
But her reaction only made Su Peng more certain that her thoughts had just been racing at high speed.
“Let’s go, let’s go! I’m starving!”
An Han quickly stood up and dragged Su Peng by the hand toward the classroom door.
School had already been in session for over a week, and the classmates had more or less gotten used to seeing An Han dressed as a girl acting intimately with Su Peng.
Recently, rumors had been spreading in the classroom that An Han was actually a girl. Some students believed it after seeing her delicate, pretty face and the increasingly hard-to-hide curves of her chest.
Because of this, An Han’s WeChat and QQ kept receiving all sorts of strange friend requests.
“Su Peng, someone tried to hit on me again!”
Walking along the campus path, An Han waved her phone in front of Su Peng as if showing off. “Three people tried to add me today! Pretty impressive, right?”
Su Peng felt a little jealous but asked casually, “Then why didn’t you accept them?”
“Dealing with just one person is already troublesome enough...”
An Han hummed as she rejected the requests one by one.
Although she had no idea how her personal information had been leaked, being liked by so many people was still a kind of recognition of her appearance, which put her in a good mood.
She had spent a bit too much recently, so over the past few days An Han had been choosing to eat in the relatively cheaper cafeteria.
But when they arrived at the cafeteria entrance, Su Peng suddenly stopped walking. Like a big boy, he couldn’t help but show a bright, sunny smile.
“What’s wrong?” An Han immediately became alert.
Following Su Peng’s gaze, she saw a tall, slender man with a similar build to Su Peng.
Only then did she relax and hurried after Su Peng, curiously looking at the unfamiliar person.
Logically speaking, Su Peng’s social circle after entering university was no different from An Han’s. Anyone he knew, she also knew. But she was certain she had never seen this man before.
“Bro, why are you here?” Su Peng asked.
“Taking a few days off. Came by to celebrate your birthday while I’m at it.”
An Han peeked out from behind Su Peng, her big eyes full of curiosity.
Su Peng’s older brother? Their facial features, build, and height really were quite similar. The man looked handsome and well-built. He wore a casual suit and seemed to be about twenty-five.
Su Yichang also noticed the girl behind his younger cousin and smiled kindly while greeting her.
“Your girlfriend? The girl named An Han?”
“You have other girlfriends?” An Han stood on tiptoe and whispered into Su Peng’s ear.
“No...” Su Peng’s smile stiffened for a moment before returning to his usual gentle expression. “Yeah, my girlfriend. An Han. This is my cousin, Su Yichang.”
“Oh~”
Although An Han felt a little restrained meeting a stranger for the first time, her lively personality quickly showed through. After curiously looking Su Yichang over, she spoke first, though a bit shyly.
“Hello, cousin.”
After saying that, she quickly shrank her head back and hid behind Su Peng again.
She suddenly regretted calling him “cousin,” as if she were too eager to become Su Peng’s wife.
Su Yichang smiled at An Han’s reaction, walked over, and wrapped an arm around Su Peng’s shoulders.
“Come on, I’ll treat you two to a meal.”
“Bro, where are you staying these days?” Su Peng asked.
“Found a hotel nearby. I’ll celebrate your birthday with you and probably head back over the weekend.”
“My dog hasn’t gotten into any trouble these past couple of days, right?”
“I heard he hooked up with a female dog outside...”
Walking behind the two men, An Han somehow felt like her Su Peng had been stolen away.
Originally she had wanted to celebrate Su Peng’s birthday alone with him. That way she could also complete her task more freely. But now that Su Yichang was here, what if he took Su Peng back to stay at the hotel...
Wouldn’t that mean she wouldn’t even need to use her “five-finger lady” to help Su Peng, and the task would directly fail?
Only then did she realize the problem.
“Sister-in-law, what would you like to eat?” Su Yichang asked as he turned back after chatting with Su Peng for a while.
“Anything is fine. I’m not picky.”
“Let’s get seafood. She likes it,” Su Peng added.
An Han might say she wasn’t picky, but whenever she ordered takeout she would reject this and that, spending half an hour hesitating before Su Peng finally made the decision.
He had gradually figured it out—when dealing with An Han, he needed to be a bit more decisive sometimes, otherwise she would drive him crazy.
“Alright, I’ll check for nearby seafood restaurants.”
While Su Yichang looked down at his phone to search for restaurants, Su Peng slowed down and walked beside An Han.
At that moment, An Han looked unusually obedient and well-behaved. She even deliberately shortened her steps to appear more ladylike. None of her usual mischievous energy remained, and her expression was surprisingly serious.
Su Peng chuckled softly and asked in a low voice, “Why are you so nervous?”
“I’m not!”
An Han shook her head immediately, but her next words were as quiet as a mosquito’s buzz.
“Why didn’t you tell me beforehand that your cousin was coming...”
“I didn’t prepare anything. What if he gets a bad impression of me?”
She muttered uneasily, “Is your cousin easy to get along with? He won’t go back and say bad things about me to your parents, right?”
“He’s my cousin who grew up playing with me.”
“But he looks kind of cold...”
Su Yichang’s coldness was the type where he appeared warm on the outside but distant on the inside. Even though he was smiling, An Han could still feel a strong sense of detachment.
“He’s probably nervous too,” Su Peng explained for his cousin. “Actually he’s kind of a goofball. He’s just like that around people he doesn’t know well.”
“Really...”
An Han suddenly remembered the conversation she had just overheard.
Su Peng had asked about the health of his golden retriever, but Su Yichang replied that it had been hooking up with another dog.
Yeah… definitely a goofball.
